Supported Independent Living (SIL)

In our supported independent living settings you’ll enjoy the freedom of independence in a home shared with like-minded people. Our dedicated support staff are on hand as much or as little as you require to assist with tasks of daily living, when you need it.

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)

Our mostly single-occupancy specialist disability accommodation units provide tailored, personalised support for people with severe functional impairment or complex needs.

Respite Services & Short-Term Stays

Our respite and short-term accommodation services provide a home from home for people with disabilities, or for their carers, when they need to get away from it all for a break from routine.

Mental Health Care

With professional staff experienced in the prevention and treatment of mental health conditions, First Support cares for disabled people in both body and mind, through medical and non-medical therapeutic routes.

Behavioural Care

Disabled people who need additional behavioural support are well cared for with First Support. We have specialist behavioural care staff who plan and implement personalised strategies to treat and cope with behavioural conditions.

Complex Care

In line with the NDIS Complex Support Needs Pathway, First Support is experienced in creating and implementing multi-faceted care plans for disabled people with multiple and complex needs.

Support Coordination

As an NDIS-approved provider, First Support works with disabled people and their families to coordinate all aspects of the NDIS – not just the day-to-day business of providing care, but practical help with things like accessing your funds, introducing you to service providers, and negotiating with stakeholders to help you obtain the funding support you need for independence.

In-Home Support Services

Whether you need ad hoc assistance with household chores or gardening, regular help with activities of daily living, or 24-hour round-the-clock care, First Support carers are here for you in the comfort of your own home. We also offer in-home vocational and life skills training.

Community Support Services

We believe it’s important for everyone to play an active role in the community, but as a disabled person you might not know how to start, where to start or even if you can start. Yes you can – our community support services connect you with activities, sports and recreation groups in your community you’ll enjoy.
